Step by Step to Calvary: The Stations of the Cross for Prisoners

Partners’ second pamphlet, written specifically for Catholic prisoners, is Step by Step to Calvary: The Stations of the Cross.

Each of the traditional Stations of the Cross begins with a description of Jesus’ passion. Other sections for each Station include: “Jesus, Who Are You?” which describes Jesus using a traditional title such as Emmanuel or the Good Shepherd; “Jesus, Show Me Your Face,” which describes one of his attributes, such as gentleness, humility, or obedience; “Jesus, I Repent,” which provides readers with an opportunity for repentance and healing in a specific area; and lastly, “Jesus, I Pray,” which gives an opportunity for prayer and intercession. Jesus’ resurrected life is celebrated in a litany of praise at the conclusion of the Fourteenth Station.

It is our prayer that every prisoner who receives this pamphlet will experience deeper conversion and be strengthened daily by the Holy Spirit to live a life of holiness.
